North Rock Communications Ltd was launched in 1997 with a team of 3 people offering dial-up internet services. Over the next 2 years the team realized that the Bermudian market was in need of innovative ways to connect to the internet as well as value added services at competitive rates. Here are some of the larger milestones:
- 1999 – Launched Wireless network
- 2000 – Launched long distance service
- 2003 – Launched local dial services, second in Bermuda
- 2009 – Launched Enterprise VPN services
Today North Rock has multiple points of presence In Bermuda and has capacity on diverse paths to NYC. We have 2 convenient services centers centers and all customer facing staff members reside on island. North Rock staff complement of 40 is 80% Bermudian.
